Sludge Handling Cranes

In a sludge station, the semi-fluid sludge is unloaded by trucks onto the storage bunkers. In the bunker, the crane further transfers the sludge into the storage area. From the storage area, the crane feeds the sludge to the process line. The material is very sticky, which is taken into consideration in the dimensioning of crane structures and machineries. One continuously operated fully automated crane is used in this application. Controlling the crane is done through a monitor from the central control room.
